Import holiday calendars

Import events and schedules from the Web to your calendar.

Sporting events, TV shows, local goings–on, and more—import them all to your Windows Live Calendar! Simply visit the website of your favorite sports team or television show, where you'll often find an Add to Calendar link ending with .ics. Right-click this link, and save it to your Desktop.

Then, on the Windows Live Calendar page, click Import and browse to the saved ICS file or paste in the Add to Calendar link you copied. Choose whether you want the information in a new calendar or in one of your existing calendars, and then click Import calendar to complete the process.
